See GurugramQuestions?
How much does a party chef at home cost?
It depends on guests, dishes, occasion and timing. You see the full, all-inclusive price before paying. Many 10–15 guest house parties come to a few thousand rupees.
How many guests can the chef cook for?
From 1 to 100 guests. For large menus the chef arrives earlier — the arrival time is worked out from your menu and guest count.
Who buys the ingredients?
You do — the chef cooks with your groceries. You see the full menu when booking, so you can shop in advance.
Which cities do you cover?
Delhi, Noida and Gurugram. Book My Cook currently serves these cities only.
How far ahead should I book?
At least 3 hours before serving, and up to 60 days ahead. Earlier is better for big parties.
Are the cooks verified?
Yes. Every cook completes identity and document verification before taking bookings, and every booking ends with a customer rating that stays on their profile.
Can I cancel?
Cancelling is free until a cook is assigned. After that a time-based charge may apply — smaller if you cancel well ahead. You see the exact refund before you confirm.
Can the cook make Jain or no onion-garlic food?
Yes. Choose Jain or No onion & garlic as your food preference when booking — the cook adapts every dish. It doesn't change the price.
How do I pay?
Online, right after booking, by UPI, card, netbanking or wallet through Razorpay. The price you see is final and inclusive of all taxes — nothing is added at checkout.
